The AetherSuite software suite : the 9 open-source Android applications were offered to: e Foundation / Murena (https://e.foundation/) - Jolla / Sailfish OS (https://sailfishos.org/) - Punkt MC03 (https://www.punkt.ch/en) in March 2026.
What all these phones have in common: they are de-Googled, they all run on an AOSP Android base, and their default apps are either non-existent, basic, or provided by third parties. The Punkt MC03, for example, provides its own email and calendar apps, but nothing comparable to a cohesive suite of 9 apps designed together.
AetherSuite is exactly the software suite these phones have been waiting for.
The AetherSuite software suite runs on AOSP, does not depend on any Google services, installs manually without a store, and is MIT-licensed. It is made for them, natively, without any modifications.
